Troy Payne started his career at the age of 17 and in 1990 was hired as an apprentice at Vidal Sassoon in Beverly Hills. It was here that he realized his passion was in hair colour. He has spent time perfecting his craft in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and London while also traveling the world to work on commercials, print campaigns, and celebrities. He has been featured in Allure Magazine as San Francisco’s best colourist and currently serves as Partner and Colour Director at Elizabeth David Salon in San Francisco.
