This is a nation wide contest and has become a really big deal, in the world of TV, who has the best hair has always been a big deal. Celebrity men have been winning hair style awards for years, USA Today, Vanity Fair, Men’s Life Today, New York Times, POPSUGAR, all name celebrity male ‘best hair’ contest winners every year. Well look out because the HAIRRY awards are gaining nation wide recognition and local newsman are receiving celebrity status.

The Company Behind The Contest

The website GetGoodHead.com was founded in 2014 and was developed as a hobby; well it seems to have grown a life of it’s own. This website is designed to give people information on shampoo and conditioners that are affordable and high quality. How Are They Judged

The HAIRRY Awards categories range from top 25 Real Estate Agents with the best hair, male and female. To best hair in College Football, to News Anchors with the best hair, men and women. Who are the judges? They would be the crew at getgoodhead.com.

The criteria is:

• hair thickness
• hair volume
• hair styling (does it fit their age, their head shape, their face, etc)
• little to no receding hair line (sorry to those who are in the follicle challenge club)

They do say that they do not take into consideration; hair color or attractiveness of the man. However, there seems to be a correlation between great hair and over all “hotness”. The judging is that simple; it’s all about the hair and the coif. The staff at getgoodhead.com may do the judging but they highly encourage interaction among their followers.
